A music video with Aligned Vision costs £750 on the Signature package. That covers an 8 hour production day across two locations, concept and creative planning, a professional lighting set-up, the edit and colour grade, 2 rounds of edit revisions, 10 social media reels, behind-the-scenes photography and a standard promo. You can split the £750 into interest-free instalments on request.
Some costs sit outside the package, such as third-party location and talent fees. This guide explains what moves the price of a music video up or down, so you can plan your budget before you get in touch.
What changes the price of a music video
A music video is a mix of crew time, planning and post-production. These are the parts that change the cost.
Time on set
The length of the production day is the starting point. A longer day means more crew time. The Signature package includes one production day of 8 hours.
Number of locations
Each extra location adds travel and set-up time, and some come with a fee to the owner. The Signature package covers two locations.
Location fees vary from place to place. The Royal Parks base their filming fees on the nature and purpose of the shoot, the size of the cast and crew and the time on site. They ask for payment in full 24 hours before the shoot (The Royal Parks). On London streets, small crews of five or fewer can ask some boroughs for a Notice of No Objection. Some boroughs issue these free of charge and others charge between £25 and £100 (Film London).
Lighting
Light sets the mood of a video and guides the viewer’s eye. Rigging lights takes crew and time at each location. A professional lighting set-up is part of the Signature package.
Concept and planning
The more that is decided before the shoot, the less time is lost on the day. Aligned Vision’s pre-production covers a full creative treatment, location scouting, casting, a shot list and a call sheet. Concept and creative planning is included in the Signature package.
Edit, colour grade and revisions
Post-production turns the footage into a finished video. Editing and grading take time, and so does each round of changes. All Aligned Vision music video packages include 2 rounds of revisions. Extra rounds cost £150 each.
Extra deliverables
Reels, photos and promo clips help a release, and each one is more editing work. The Signature package already includes 10 social media reels, BTS photography and a standard Out Now / Coming soon promo.

Standard delivery is an H.264 MP4 in 1080p or 4K. ProRes master files are available on request.
Costs that sit outside the package
Plan for these on top of the £750. All of them are set out in the help centre.
- Talent and locations. Aligned Vision can source models, actors, extras and locations. Any third-party talent or location fees are quoted separately and need your approval before anything is booked.
- Extra revision rounds. £150 per round after the 2 included rounds.
- Rush delivery. Delivery in 1 to 3 days is available as a paid option. Ask about availability when you book.
- Moving your date. One reschedule is free with at least 7 days’ notice. Rescheduling within 7 days of the shoot costs £100.
- Cancelling. If you cancel more than 14 days before the shoot, the deposit is refunded minus a £50 admin fee. If you cancel within 14 days, you lose the deposit.
How payment works
A 50% deposit confirms your shoot date. The other 50% is due 48 hours before the shoot.
You can pay by bank transfer (BACS), PayPal, or debit or credit card through Stripe. Each invoice includes the payment details and a secure link. If you want to use Pay in 3, ask when you book.
Every project comes with a service agreement. It covers scope, deliverables, timelines, usage rights and payment terms, and you sign it digitally through DocuSign.
How to get an accurate quote
The quickest route to an exact price is a discovery call. Bring:
- the song
- your release date, especially if a label or distributor deadline is fixed
- 3 to 5 reference videos you like, which help set the style, colour palette and mood quickly
- your location ideas
- any special requests, such as 4K, 120fps slow motion or drone shots
After the call, Aligned Vision sends a quote and contract within 48 hours.
